I got new batteries and finally got a picture of the moth.

Original Post:

So I went out to the barn to take care of the chickens this morning and a splash of green caught my eye There was a big, beautiful Luna Moth in the corner!

Me: Son, go get the camera!

(Upon his return, seeing that the camera won't turn on.)

Me: Son, go get the extra batteries!

(Upon his return, seeing that the problem is not the batteries and the camera still won't work.)

Me: Son, go get the cell phone!

Well, that did work but the pictures aren't great.

Then a few minutes ago, the kids just came running down the stairs screaming, "Fawn! Fawn!"

Well, sure enough that doe that has been roaming around across the road had a fawn with it. So, we all went back upstairs to see what was going on. Wait! It has TWIN fawns! The other one was lying down. So they basically hung out in the field about 100 feet from our house for 15 minutes before moving on. It would have made a great picture.

Thus ends this episode of Wild Kingdom.

It won't let me send the pic from my cell to my email. This is why I use my phone for calls and my camera for pictures.

I didn't think mine did either, until I played with it one day. Turns out I could type in an e-mail address where you normally would put a phone number. The things you learn about your technology!!

Oooo, nice pictures!

I did type in my email address, but it still wouldn't send to it. Strange! I sent it to my sister's phone, let's see if she can email them to me. Lol!
