Well after nearly drowning three days ago my beloved silkie, Pickles, successfully hatched to beautiful chicks this morning.
I wasn't sure what would happen because during the 7 hours she was recovering in the house they were unattended. Anyway, below is what you get when a buff orpington rooster mates with a silkie hen. It will be interesting to see what they look like all grown up.
