Silkie— hen or roo?

I'm hoping for hen— can't have another roo

I'm not sure on the age.

without knowing the age its really a guess but it looks like there maybe streamers coming from the crest which would mean cockerel but the comb is still fairly small which makes me think pullet

The puffball actually looks like a ballish kinda shape, as along as it is not pushed back its means it is a girlie. But if you want a definite answer there should be a silkie thread on here, so post on there..
