As far as breeding goes, I have two girls I would really like to let hatch out this spring. My chocolate hen and my silver partridge. My rooster choices will be my splash and my soon to be red.

Some photos below of the ones I currently have. I get my red roo on Thursday.

What are the likely outcomes for either pairing?

For all pairings, there is a chance of other color offspring, depending on what genes the parents are carrying. But for the colors you have listed, I would expect the following:

Chocolate hen X splash roo
Blue chicks, with the sons carrying chocolate but not showing it.

Chocolate hen X red roo
Black chicks, with the sons carrying chocolate but not showing it. Both genders will carry genes for red, and may show some red or gold leakage as they grow up.

Silver partridge X splash roo
Blue chicks, possibly with silver leakage or maybe red/gold leakage in male chicks (depending on what genes the splash rooster has.)

Silver partridge X red roo
Sex linked chicks: gold daughters, silver sons. The "gold" daughters may actually have red, brown, buff, or some other shade. The "silver" sons may have some red leakage as they grow up (especially in the shoulders), and may look yellowish rather than a clean silver. Those sons also carry the gene for gold.

Both genders will have some black as well, maybe Partridge pattern or maybe some other pattern or a mix of patterns.

Thank you SO much for this response. I'm still learning a lot and this was extremely helpful!
