Silkie Chick Not Growing

My Silkie chick who i bought at about 3 days old isn't gaining much weight or eating much and is about half the size of his sister/brother. They are both 2 weeks now and he only eats when his sister/brother eats but is their anything i can give it to make it gain weight?

You might try getting some handfeeding formula. Try feeding it dry--not too much, and have plenty of water available nearby.

If that doesn't help, mix it with water until about mashed potato consistency and seeing if the chick will eat when you stick its beak into the mix. If not you may need to syringe feed. I use 1cc (1ml) oral syringes. Place WAY down the throat or at the tip of the tongue. Not anywhere in between or you are likely to aspirate the bird. Just a bit at a time.
