Silkie chick sounds like button quail?

I don't know if this chick is sick or not.

New Silkie chick, and makes that whisteling sound like a Button Quail does. Doesn't appear to be having breathing problems. Especially does this when excited. Doesn't seem to be constant.

Any ideas?

Does she have pasty butt? Is she too warm? Too cold? Is she drinking? we need a little more info....behavior?

Sorry, I have been out of town, just got home last night.

Hubby says chick was born on Monday morning. Monday and Tuesday no gasping or sounds coming while the chick appears to be breathing.

Last night (Wed.) chick will occasionally go through bouts of breathing where the sound (like a squeaky toy) comes with the breathing.

We have a decent size brooder on one side is a heat lamp and a heating pad. Food and water on other side. Just found her with her healthy hatch mate at the water bowl, so I assume she is eating and drinking.

She is running around and acting like the other chick, just makes that sound occasionally.

There are bouts when it is constant, kind of like when the button quails are carrying on a conversation.

No pasty butt, otherwise seems healthy.
