Silkie- cockerel or pullet

I know it's hard to sex this breed but I just rehomed an obvious cockerel 2 weeks so ago. I've never had a silkie but I have to thin out my flock due to permit laws. This one is 8 1/2 weeks old. Any obvious signs?

I also have silkie chicks and I looked up a lot of stuff and roosters feathers on their head stick up

Another tip is to fell the head for a comb Roos will tend to be bigger and pop out more
