Silkie Cockerel?

7 weeks old. I’ve heard with silkies you need to wait until they are 2 months but does this look like a cockerel?

Disclaimer: I know next to nothing about silkies and yes people say sit back and wait. ... but do they all have combs that wide? and also look at those wing bows.

Actually silkies are best sexed at 4-5 mos. or not till they crow or lay. But WOW that is a BIG comb, and so little crest.

Either or. I just have to comment that silkie looks to have really good skin color for a buff.

I have had fast developing silkie pullets(one especially was a buff and I swore she was a he until he layed an egg and got named Ginger LOL) before so I'd wait a bit but that does seem like a lot of comb already.

Definitely watch that comb for continued growth that will be the deal breaker I'm thinking. Or a crow.
