Hello! I'm fairly new to chickens. I have raised waterfowl for many years but a couple years ago started breeding Bbs Silkies.
I have one black hen, 1 black roo and one dark blue hen.
So we had a new hatch yesterday and the chick is soooo much lighter than any chick we've had before. Our chick's have been black or dark blue. I have one that has feathered into a nice medium blue.
Then there's this fella. He's so so light. Any idea what I have here? Reminds me of self blue, but is that even possible? Any input appreciated.
