We already lost one no idea why. External pip and then no other progress. Opened him up after 24 days and he was dead. Totally fine, no yolk or signs of shrink wrap. Lost another one today. Looked like shrink wrap. Right white membrane. He was chirping yesterday and had his beak out of the shell. Then, gone. One is alive and well. We helped her out yesterday as she was stuck. Any advice as to what to do with this last of four babies?! I candled it this morning and he’s in there moving and has his beak in the air cell... I’m afraid to lose another one! I can hear him chirping but there’s no external pip! 😭

How long has the last one been internally pipped?

as long as gets air.
I just had 2 silkies. I put little air hole in 48 hours later they hatched.
After awhile you could look if you can see the beak and see if its yawning or swallowing it is still absorbing the yolk.

During lockdown try NOT opening lid , hang in there and let them hatch , patience is very important during this time.
