Silkie eggs day 15

I have 2 silkies that on day 15. I was told to put them in lockdown tomorrow on day 16. I guess my question is are the air sacs big enough? The chicks have filled up the eggs nicely and are still moving. I just wanna make sure that air sacs are big enough?

Lockdown is three days before they are due to hatch, so you're right, day 16 for silkies no matter the size of the air sacs.

Awe, that's going to be so fun for you.

I know some folks that do lockdowns at 5 days before hatch. I do the recommended 3 though, but just saying a day or two too soon wouldn't probably matter to them.
