I'm a bit paranoid... I put in 12 eggs, only five were fertilized. One quit developing. Now I'm waiting on four eggs. Possibly only two, because I went to check the broody hen and she was off of two of them. So I took them into my incubator instead. Not sure how long they were out of heat though... But now it's day 19. They aren't moving or peeping. I heard they do that around the 19th day. Should I be concerned? Also, any advice? This is my first time! Thanks!

hello,
Its fine for them to not be peeping by the 19th day, all the ones i've hatched started peeping on the 20-21st day, some even on the 23rd!
Dont worry, and once they are hatched there mother will do everything!
Goodluck with them, chicks are such fun. :D

Are you gonna pull an all nighter watching yours too?? I had a dream last night that my cat got into the incubator. How can we sleep with all this excitement??

Yes!
I thought it was just me! No WAY would I be able to sleep during lockdown! These few days have been the worst!! But the most exciting as well! Hahaha, I had a dream that nine of them hatched! I only have four fertile eggs in there! I have been straining my ears and eyes to spot any sign of life!
