Hi everybody i have a qestion If you have a Reccisieve black to a recciseve white will some of the chicks be black and white what would the percentige be ?

mating a Black bird to a Recessive white bird should yield all black birds if the Black bird is based on Extended black(E) or Extended Black Restricted(Er)... but if based on eb or e+ you may get different colors depending what Recessive whit is hiding..

idk I thought that if you breed a black silkie rooster that came from blues ,whites ,blacks that it would not be pure breed same with a white silkie hen that came mixed ?
