Silkie gender and type of silkie?

Hi this is about 3 days old.
Can you tell me gender and type. I got them from MCMURRAY and it has 5 toes.
I believe it is a white silkie is this right?

also here is a japanese bantam i believe this one is a girl am i right?

does the silkie chick have buff feathers or it that just the lighting?

There is no way to tell what sex of silkie you have until it gets much older. I am still fooled sometimes at over 5 months of age!

Thanks and if by buff feathers you mean tan then yes some tan and some white!

S/he is likely a non-bearded, really light Buff Silkie or a non-bearded white. I am unsure of the gender, because Silkies are more difficult. The best method of sexing them, unfortunately, is often to wait until you get a crow or an egg.

As for the Japanese bantam, s/he does look rather roo-ish, because of the larger comb. Share a new picture of him/her either next week or the one after that, to see if the comb reddens and enlarges further.
