Silkie gender

I have a silkie that looks like a pullet, but it is close to 8 monthes old and hasn't laid an egg. I have heard that some silkies lay much later than most breeds, depending on the quality of the bird. Is this true? Here are some pictures of it.

The one on the left is a cockeral and the one on the right is the possible pullet.

The one on the right is the same male in the first 2 pictures.
 
i believe its a male. it looks like my roo. I have a white silkie roo but we ne he was a rooster instead of a hen when he started cokadoodling

also has all the traits of a rooster, he's agresive and a pain in my butt!
