silkie going broody??

i just hatched out a few silkies and i was wondering how often do they go broody? i heard that they go broody ALOT but how much is that? i really dont have any more room but i dont want to have a broody hen not hatch any chicks. also what age do they usally go broody? its my first time having silkies btw.
