Silkie hasn't laid an egg in 3 months? What's up?

The day I picked her up she laid 2 eggs. Once right when I saw her in her pen at her old home and again later that day after I had brought her home. She was with a rooster who I did not take. I have had her for 3 months now and she has not laid an egg (that I can find). She is a very stressed out bird (new enviroment with dogs and chickens she is not used to) so I figured that was what it was but this seems like way too long for her body to stop producing... no? She is a year old.

With stress comes the possibility of not laying even for months. Just give her some time. Silkies go broody very frequently and cease laying during that time, as well.

If you want a lot of eggs, silkies aren't the breed for it...although they do give eggs a plenty if you have a nice flock of them so they take up each others' slack.
