Silkie hatching day 21

Hi All,

I'm new here but been following the feeds since I got silkies and Polands in May.

I've got 3 in an incubator that are on day 21. This morning one of the eggs was moving and I could hear cheeping inside, but it has been quiet since. That was 6 hours ago. Could something be wrong or do I just need to give it more time?

It's easier said than done, but please have patience!

I've usually got early hatchers, but twice I've waited on eggs an extra day for some reason. Another time, I had one egg that didn't pip but I could see and hear it too, and that one took two more days!

As long as you've had the temp at 99.5F, and humidity around 45% until lockdown at around 70%, they should hatch!

Thank you so much. She is finally out. He sibling has pipped and chirping away in the egg. No movement at all from the other egg so may have lost her I'm in love with my new baby
