Silkie Hatching Duck Eggs

If my silkie hatches duck eggs WILL she give them there needed oils and keep the eggs moist?

She wont give them their oils, since they dont swim therefore dont need the same oils as ducks.

You should sprinkle the eggs with water after the first week, as chickens have lower humdity then the broody ducks do. Also, its better to take the duck eggs away from her 3 days before they hatch and move them into an incubator at 70-80% humidity, because the silkie hen wont get the humdity up high enough.
