This lil fuzzybutt I'm looking into adopting was hatched on December third. The first 3 pictures were taken at 9 weeks old, the rest are recent within a few days. Do your thing folks!!

I'm pretty sure that's gonna be a boy, I don't think partridge ladies get that deep red/rust colouring, nor do I think any hens get those sort of "wing bars" patterns on the wing, sorry :'( unless you were looking for a cockerel which in that case you found one!
Yes I was having second thoughts about my guess. That’s why I asked for the comb photo. I think you’re right about the wing coloring.😊

It’s still early but the colouring looks male to me. Update pics in a few weeks and it might be more obvious! :)

Oh noooooo 😅

Yep I am definitely looking to adopt a lil girl. I am having SUCH a hard time finding a silkie hen that has been handled enough for me to feel like she'll bond to me. I'm one of those house chicken/ chicken baby people 🤪

Get some chicks and then sell any males. Then you can really baby them.

Some silkie breeders sell DNA sexed pullets. Costs a bit more, but then you can be sure. They will usually offer a quarantee.😊
