So I had 7 chickens, mixed breeds, and one of my barred rocks turned out to be a rooster. When he started crowing we removed him from the flock. About two weeks later one of my two white silkies started crowing. So we found him a new home. We live in the suburbs so I don't want a rooster irritating my neighbors (or me). Now about a week later my other white silkie started to kinda crow in the morning before I let them out to roam my yard. I am not sure if he/she is a roo or not, and I don't want to get rid of her if she isn't. Plus now I am concerned that I gave a hen to someone under the false pretense that it was a rooster. Here are some pictures of the birds.
