One of my Silkies just hatched with what I'm going to guess is part of the ambilicall cord, but I'm not sure since I'm new to hatching. Anybody know?

From the pic, it does look like a little "cord"/membrane. Just watch the other chicks make sure they don't peck at it. Chances are it'll come off on it's own as she moves around, if not you can tie it off and cut it. If they aren't picking at it you can let it dry naturally, but generally with other chicks the will peck.
YupThe cord still hasn't fallen off. Can I cut it since it appears to be dried up?
