Well my last silkie was killed last night. :-(
Don't think it was a snake just because the head was gone. However, if it was a raccoon or anything like that wouldn't it have killed more than just the one. Also, this is the 3rd silkie that has been killed. I wouldn't be getting anymore because I can't handle the lost.

Heads removed sounds more like skunk or weasel. Weasels usually kill a bunch that way and then pile them up.

It is likely something small so you need to find where the hole is. They can get into the coop with very small holes

Welcome! Rats do the same thing; re-evaluate your coop and run, because obviously some critter is coming in at will! No openings larger than 1/2" anywhere, all hardware cloth very well secured, and no way to dig into the coop from underneath.
Posting pictures may help us here too.
I'm so sorry for your losses, and it's time to fix the problems.

So sorry for your loss :hit
It’s a constant heartbreaking battle. I too have had to learn things the hard way. It’s a bitter pill to swallow. We do the best we can with what we’ve got. So sorry.
