silkie nest boxes

how high off the floor should silkie nest boxes be? i see that they do not jump like the big girls so i was wondering if the boxes should be low.

The boxes should be very low. Silkies pretty much like to stay on the ground, as they really can't fly. I have boxes on the floor, but they choose to lay on the floor in the shavings, very seldom in the boxes.
