So we got a new 4 month old silkie pullet yesterday. She has been eating, even took some popcorn as a treat today, but I haven’t seen her drink anything? I trimmed her crest cuz it was huge, which she seemed to have a hard time getting the popcorn after, I assume because her depth perception is probably off because now she can actually see rather than seeing though all that fluff lol. Poops are normal, not a lot but normal. When she first came home they were watery but not anymore. I have read that can be from stress. Do you think it’s just the stress of a new home & from not having her siblings anymore & she needs time to get used to her new environment or should I be concerned? I showed her where the water is, which is right next to the food obviously, but I dipped her beak in it to demonstrate just in case. Maybe she is drinking but I’m just not seeing it?
