Hi,
I have a silkie hen that always has a poopy vent. Makes me a bit sick. Gave her a bath. Poopy vent after two weeks. Should I trim feathers and de poopify her? Thought after the first bath she would be better. Alas not, still poop on her vent. Very fuzzy.

No, she doesn't. She has had this problem since she was very young. She has an extreme amount of feathering. Went ahead and bathed her again and trimmed some feathers around the vent. It probably doesn't help she doesn't roost at nite either.
