Phyllis came out of the coop this morning and ate a little bit before she started to bash her head into the ground like in the video.
I figured she was probably trying to dislodge something and did some quick research on impacted crops. I massaged her but I am a new chicken owner so I couldn’t tell you if anything felt off.

After a few minutes she started acting normal again, I put her in dog crate with some water while so I could come check here.

My question is this - should I allow her to rejoin the others and start eating again?
She’s drinking water and overall seems fine but as this is my first chicken medical issue I am not sure.

If she was doing that right after eating, she may have aspirated a little food.

Since she's now acting normal, then I'd put her out with the others.
Just did, thanks!
It was nice to see the the whole flock decided to keep her company while she was crated lol
