Silkie pullet or cockerel

Got this guy/girl mid March. Is it still too early to tell ?

It is really early yet, but I suspect a roo. Could you try to get a picture from the side, but one where it's head is upright? Maybe a close up of its comb too.

I think it might well be a roo as well. That backswept topknot, and also looks like quite a bit of comb.

I don't really see anything that screams rooster, no streamers are developing yet, the comb still looks small, and no wattles are developing yet. Try to get a picture of the bird's comb with the crest pulled back so we can get a better look. How old is the bird it may still be to early to tell. Honestly with Silkies it is not 100% a hen until it lays lol.

Silkies are hard to tell until they are older, but it does have a big comb so it may be a cockerel, but I can't be positive.

I have heard it is common for silkie hens to crow, so I think eggs would be your main clue.
