Silkie Question...

I am trying to find out about the grey silkie line...is this a cross of some sort ? Also I've seen calico and tort silkies, does anybody have any info on these 3 colors?

Any info would be appreciated.

Grey isn't just a line, it is a recognized variety. Greys are basically partridges with the silver gene, where the browns and golds in partridge are replaced with grays and silvers. Many poor quality greys will get rust in the feathers, usually around the wings. Some breeders, in an attempt to market these mismarked greys, give them names such as calico so that they will appear to be a new, rare, and desireable variety. Tort silkies are likely just mixed colored birds given a name.
