silkie roo?

is the comb and wattles on this silkie a normal occurence, or is
he a mix breed

I have looked on here but have never seen a silkie roo with single comb and large wattles. So get a normal looking roo for breeding purposes?

yes he is pet quilty not breeding. i would try and get some silkies from a breeder off of here that has good quilty silkies. check out the autions on here and if you are up to incubating and hatching i would try that to.

Your silkie is the beardless type. Most of the silkies pictured on BYC are bearded and don't show their waddles. It is commom for hatchery silies (often sold at feed stores) to have comb problems.
