Looking to figure out how to fix my flock and nanofluff flocks ratios. I got 3 silkie babies in Nov and they all are roosters. I also hatched out 10 (what look like cochin dad and cackle rainbow mix moms) chicks from ebay eggs, one is a frizzle hen that I plan on putting into the nanofluff flock. So there are 3 roosters in that hatch and 7 are hens, including the frizzle. Plus 2 older ladies that will be part of the main flock, so I have 6 roosters and 9 hens. How many mini flufferhens do I need to keep these 3 silkie boys happy and do I need to add more hens to the main flock? I know the easiest is to get rid of roosters, but im a softie and a fan of chicken math. Was going to try trading the white or black or both for hens, but then realized how dumb that idea might be.
