Silkie Sexers.... Need Yor Help Please! What Is Maple ?? Lots of Pics

Hello!! Up until now, I was almost sure Maple was a girl. Now, I am not too sure. She is 6 months old and is my little "lap chicken". I have asked about her before and most guesses female. If we can guess one more time, I would greatly appreciate it!

In looking at the pics, since it doesn't have any noticeable comb or wattles & it's 6 mos. of age, then it's most likely going to be a HEN.

Have you heard it try to crow yet?

My roos definitely had all of the above going on by 6 mos of age. Although, they can still fool ya sometimes. Have you had Sonoran Silkies try to ID this silkie yet?

Thanks for guessing! I have not heard a crow and she is not trying to fight with the 2 other roos I have. She is very laid back, but I am thinking I am seeing some "streemers" and more of a "bumpy" comb than before. She is from a breeder, not hatchery, so I know it can take a little longer to sex. I have had many silkies before, and this one is the sweetest one I have ever come across. My daughters swing with her on the swings, have tea parties with her in the treehouse, she just sits where you put her. Its hilarious. I wanted to breed her with my frizzle roo to get some Partridge Sizzles, but if she is a he, it will have to go. I am already pushing it with 2 roos. Thanks again and keep the guesses coming. If anyone doubts she is a female, let me know.

I am sooo happy I am getting so many girl responses! Thanks again everyone. I am sure she will lay an egg tomorrow as I am questioning her sex now. If I could clone her I would, she is the "ideal" chicken. Hopefully she will be a great mom too! You guys are the greatest!
