I started with chickens like lots of people, grabbing a handful at the farm store! I constantly checked butts and feared they would all drown if I didn't watch them around the water. So stressful! Over the years I have become much more confident!

I have fine tuned my chicken rearing and fell madly in love with Silkies AND SATINS! I think the satins look like little church ladies ready for Easter Sunday! Love! And just like baseball cards, I need them all!

I retired early to stay at home to pet my chickens and also to run a hobby farm and garden :) I sell fresh herbs and veggies as well as hatching eggs from my flock! I did great selling eggs on other sites with awesome feedback from my customers. I loved all the photos of the hatchlings. Hopefully I can expand on BYC and share with you all!
