I let them out all day. I feed them in the middle of my yard with my other birds where it's been the driest.(non stop rain here) I do also feed and water in the metal cage part using a plastic egg tray. It sits nicely between the bars on the floor. It's off the ground a bit. The only reason there still in separate box is because that's where they prefer to sleep. Their a bit timid,when it comes to the older birds....PS that coop is 4 foot tall.
