Silkie with red comb and wattles - does this mean it's a roo?

One of my two 7 week old Silkies has had a red comb for a long time now and is the only one of my five chicks that is showing development of the wattles. I know that Silkies usually have to be a lot older than 7 weeks to sex, but since mine has a red comb, does that mean it's a cockerel? Is the fact that Silkies usually have dark combs one of the reasons they are so hard to sex?

Skin and combs should be black on a silkie. Since it's red, and that red I would guess it's a rooster too.

Yep he's a rooster. Very cute!

They usually get mulberry colored combs, but any color but black is a cockerel at that age.
