Also, some of the hatcheries do still have some available for shipping later ie My Pet Chicken/ Meyer and Cackle has some chicks available for shipping in July.

If you want quality silkies for show / breeding you will need to contact reputable silkie breeders. You won't find that level of birds at a hatchery.

By subscribing to the various silkie threads (there are many) you can find people that have silkie chicks / or older now. Also your state thread may have silkie folks near you so you wouldn't need to ship.

The largest silkie thread is simply called Silkie thread, put that in the search box and it will pop up.
