They're adorable. Their combs look different than mine. Except maybe your white bird. I'm very new to chickens overall, and silkies are hard. Pippin (pictured) is 9 weeks old, and I still am not sure.

@Debbie292d is our silkie expert though. Maybe she can help you!

Yours are adorable! I am brand new to this too!

Chickens can have several different types of combs.

Your Silkie Pippin has a single comb.

Silkies are supposed to have a walnut comb, and I think that is what the Silkies in the first post do have. It can be a bit hard to tell comb type on Silkies, because of the black skin and the crest.

Having the "wrong" comb type does not bother the chicken, but sometimes it does matter to the people (if someone wants to enter the chicken in a show, or use it to breed more chickens that have the correct traits for that breed.)

I've thought Pippin had an "off" comb for a since I got him or her. It definitely doesn't bother me, as I don't plan to show birds or even breed Pippin. I do wish I knew if Pippin is male or female though, lol. It's the only bird in my coop that I'm still unsure of.
