I've got 6 white silkies that are almost 4 months 4 months old (they were spring break chickies). This is my first time with silkies, and they're not easy to be certain about. However, I'm starting to hope that I have 1 cockerel and 5 pullets. What do you guys think? I'm going to put pics of the chicks in separate posts to keep them separated. Otherwise, it's one big, fluffy white blur, lol.

First up, the cockerel...

And finally, chickie #6
She wanted to jump off the cage to join the rest of the crowd, so her pics are all in my hand...

Yes I believe #1 is a roo. 2,3,6 might be hens and not sure about the others. I’m honestly new to chickens and I naught a pair so I’m going off what they kinda look like but I’m no profesional. I just got some younger ones and am having trouble sexing them too, they were sold to me as hens but I’m thinking they’re Roos:/ which nothing wrong with Roos, my silkie roo protects his “wife” and is good with the younger chickens but you can only have so many Roos 🤷🏽‍♀️ also he doesn’t like being touched I feel like it de-masculates him lol

Their wattles are impossible to see (to my inexperienced eye), and their combs are all pretty similar excluding #1. I'm mainly hoping that #2-#6 are pullets since they don't have well-developed streamers like #1 has.

Whites in my opinion are the hardest silkies to sex. If you see streamers, wattles, or red on the comb, it’s almost always a cockerel.
