silkies and buff orphingtons...pics

boys or girls what do you all think. I think the buffs are all boys but there may still be a glimmer of hope. Was told me to hold on to them a little longer. Some of them are getting a little crazy now. They are 11 weeks.

silkies I'm just not sure about...they're just cute no matter what they are. They are almost 10 weeks

There doesn't seem to be rounding tails in that Buff Orp photo, which typically means girls. Those BO girls tend to get larger facail features, so I wouldn't give up on them just yet.

As for the silkies..I have no clue. To much fluff in the way. lol. But, the black does look like a hen.

thanks, I think there is one that possibly could be a hen. Who knows, I'm new to this and could be way off. I've been told to wait...the waiting drives me bonkers sometimes.

Most of your BO's do look like roos (really large and red combs at such a young age probably means roos). With silkies, until they're about 6 mos old you have about a 50/50 chance of guessing their gender (i.e. - you see it crow or the comb & wattles are really large and red). The silkies can keep ya guessing for quite a long time. I'm no silkie expert by any means though, just stating what I've read here on BYC.
