Silkies and Cochins

Does anyone know of someone or somewhere i can order day old good quality silkie and or bantam cochin chicks and that will ship them. thanks

McMurray has several different colors of Silkies that they ship but then you're bound by the minimum order.

It depends on what you mean by good quality as far as hatcheries go. I think they are generally very healthy through hatcheries(but there can always be the exception).


There are lots of people who do sell eggs. You could contact them and find out if they ship chicks.

Maybe after it warms up a bit there will be more opportunities. You could also try chicken swaps in your area. Then again you need to make sure they are healthy and what parentage they have.
