Silkies and coop layout

Getting silkies next month and want to structure coop 6x7 for best layout.
Since they don’t fly, any recommendations for poop board structure? Just put on floor with low roost?
If I built a walkway to window so they can look out, would they even use?

I’m in the process of doing the same and I put the roosting bars 1” off the floor. My silkies are super social and will come to the side of the cage when I walk up, so the window might be good! Good luck! They are a super sweet breed

I’m excited to get ours. Did you do any kind of poop catcher under the rooster bars?

My roost bars are about 6 inches off the ground. My silkies don’t roost much. Mostly they pile into a corner at night.

Can’t help with that just wanted to say I have silkie eggs under my broody Rhode Island Red hen and they are gonna be born May 8 so I’m excited to get some silkies

Just a pull out tray so it can be dumped
