HELP!
Today I went to the poultry swap with the intention of getting layers and let's just say that didn't happen!
Before I had a 3 month Columbia Rock (Annika), 2 month Bielefelder (Angela), and a breed that doesn't have a name (Lady). But those were the month old chicks I also had a 2 week EE (bunny) and 2 polish (Tinsle and Pickles). But I have ALWAYS wanted a silkie (4 YEARS!) and UH OH there were 2 silkies (2.5 months I think). So I had to get the silkies (they look like hens
and are named Ann Rose and Pom Pom) but on the way to the car there were 2-1 day old chicks!!!!
We got a Plymouth and a Rhode Island Red Cross. We went back to the car and then I realized the problem, so advice needed! Right now the day olds are in the brooder, the silkies are with the others (only one big scuffle) and are 2 other hens I forgot to mention are in the coop. They both lay I think Taffy is 4 and the other 1 year. Before the newbies the weeks and months slept in the brooder (in the kitchen the dust was AWFUL) and spent the day in a dog run outside.
PLEASE HELP!!!
Sorry I wasn't super clear
