All good- and still yuck on the predator of weasels- but we are on Long Island- NY not Rhode Island..
I did research and we have a lomg tailed weasel here yuck yuck

but as I reported (or Google reports) Weasles are all over. Luckily it sounds like the obvious,,, it was just the birds time!

I say Luckily as now you may not need to worry about the preditor factor enigma. But dont turn a blind eye to the threat which is a constant problem no matter were you are.
No matter if your NY, CA, NC or TX... the weasel is all over the nation... Just like the rat/
