Silkies....Help w/sexing and breed???????????

Was that a trick question? They both look like pure Silkies, but the 2nd looks like a mixed color. Porcelain project bird maybe?

No not a trick question.I just need to know what breed of silkies and the sex of them?WE just hatched them and are a little new to silkies.

Blue pullet, bearded, but not very well. (some would call this partially bearded)

Mixed-colour pullet, definitely bearded (nice beard). She is not porcelain as the buff would be more diluted--a softer hue. But as was said, could be a porcelain project bird. Or simply a blue X buff pairing.

OP, I believe you mean VARIETY, not BREED.
