Silkies outside? Help!

Hi,

I have been reading the posts and there seem to be a lot of different answers to my question. I have 4 7 week old silkies. They look to be feathered......it has really dropped at night here between 35-43 degrees. They have been in my barn in a cage with a heat lamp on them but I have not been sure if that is too cold so I have brought them back in the house the last two nights. Can they be outside in the barn with a heat lamp on them at that age?

I hope so.....they really stink in the house

That's how I do it from the time they're a day old, regardless of the temperature.

Ok, thanks. Mine are on a table in a wire cage in the barn but I still think they will be ok. First time chicken owner so probably overly worried.....
