Silkies shunning brooding momma

My brooding momma Silkie sat on her eggs till past the 21 day term. Once I put her back with the group, they are all being so mean to her and now she stays away from the whole group...scared. Is there anything I can do to make this transition easier on her? I am fairly new to the chicken world but love it!!

Unfortunately, there is little you can do for your hen. She must re-establish her place in the pecking order. Just keep an eye on her and make sure her mates don't beat her up too badly. Good luck.

O.K. I've been like a momma hen, myself, watching after her. After a few days, it has gotten better but I still watch. For a couple days she was avoiding joining her clan. Today I notice she is with them but leary and on the edge of the pack. I will keep watch. Thank you for your imput. I really appreciate it!
