Hi, We currently have 14 hens and a rooster, many breeds, and have enjoyed having and hatching silkies. Our last 2 silkie roosters and 1 hen were killed by hawks when they escaped their tractor. Does anyone have any for sale ?

I have a bunch for sale. Well started juveniles and some smaller, under a month old silkies. Also have a couple that are almost 4 months and some mature hens that are SQ.

Alright well let me see what hatches today. I had white silkies in the incubator that were supposed to hatch... we shall see. The incubators have been so screwy. Need to use a broody hen instead lol... do you have polish chickens by chance?

Okie dokie. I’ll get back to you in a few days. I have about 200 eggs in the incubator at the moment, but the only reliable incubator I’ve found is one that only fits 24 eggs or so. So I’m not sure what my hatch rate will be. But this site is so cool. Where in NY are you? I’m in NJ.

I’m in Lake Pleasant which is in the southern Adirondacks.

Okay. Cool. Maybe we will do a field trip there with the dogs. We work every day so we take a couple weekend field trips a month with whoever we have that weekend and the Adirondacks are on our list for the fall!
