Silkies won't lay

I got 3 black silkies hens and a brown silkie rooster. I just picked them off craigs list and had then for about a week now. The hens still aren't laying. Could it be that they aren't used to thier new environment or could it be that they don't lay as much. The dude said they all are about 2 years old. Don't know too much about this breed.

The gentlemen said they still lay but haven't seen nothing yet
