Ok so let me start off by saying that I’ve read @PippinChicken guide to sexing silkies and I still can’t seem to figure it out. I have 3 silkies that are 10 weeks old. I currently have pics of 2 and will try to get pics of the 3rd later this evening. I’m thinking I know what the blue silkie is but want others opinions.

I can try to get other pics of them this evening if needed. I’ll also take some pics of the of the other buff silkie when I get home from work.

I'm not that accurate at sexing silkies, but I think that the chicks in the first 5 pictures are cockerels and the one in the last 2 is a pullet

Ok sorry it took so long to get the other picture. Between the nasty weather we have been having and something going on I haven’t been able to get any until today. This is the other buff silkie I have. I’m kind of on the fence thinking it might be a roo too. I guess if it is I’ll find out soon enough. My blue silkie actually started to try to crow this morning.

So I have one I’m still on the fence about. It is 17 weeks this week. I was thinking it was a Pullet but the past little bit I have suspected it’s a cockerel. No crows from it yet where my black silkie started crowing at around 11 weeks. What do you guys think? Looking at the pics I took I’d say with about 100% certainty it’s a cockerel but I’d rather hear it from more of the knowledgeable folks.

That is 100% a cockerel 😳 Has all the token sexing traits-streamers, large comb, and patches of darker color on shoulders
