Sorry for posting so much lol I have 7 active silkie eggs day 11 ( well last 40 minutes of it lol it’s 11:20pm here ) but I have read a lot of silkies are to go on lockdown on day 17 instead of 18 as they tend to hatch earlier ?( Day 19-21) is this right ? Just so I can be prepared as today is day 11 when I wake up day 12 thanks in advance xx

I asked the other day because before knowing this, I have a mixed incubator right now! I was told it doesn’t matter but idk. I’m on day 17 right now so I can let you know how mine goes

Thank you ! And good luck ! I have a smaller incubator with four other eggs in it which are only on day four I have everything almost for a brooder but I want to make sure I’ve everything ready else I stress lol x
